The corporate response to the military deployment and reintegration of employees is nothing less than a call to action. Through its 2007 Workplace Warriors Think Tank, the Disability Management Employer Coalition (DMEC) has taken up the cause of educating employers. By using best practices in human resources and disability management, companies can better meet the needs of employees who were deployed to serve their country in a time of war, and who are returning with new skills, experiences, and even greater potential to contribute to the workplace.
