Welcome New EAC Members

The Employer Advisory Council (EAC) supports DMEC’s mission by providing strategic advice, feedback, and recommendations on our programs and resources. These leaders assist DMEC in the collective effort to advance the absence and disability management profession. To enhance our ability to serve our members and deliver leading-edge education, DMEC has revised the role and responsibilities of the EAC to encompass more overarching support and guidance for the organization. In addition to providing feedback on current challenges, trends, and topics of interest, the EAC will also identify resources and tools that would benefit employers, provide feedback on new products and services, and contribute content for DMEC’s various publications and articles.

This year several new members have joined the EAC (listed in bold). We encourage members to seek out EAC members during our upcoming conferences to share insight and feedback that will assist them in supporting DMEC and the absence management industry.

Congratulations to Chapter Presidents

DMEC’s network of chapters gives members an opportunity to become part of their local professional community and a chance to discuss issues affecting their state and region. The success of our chapters is due to the dedicated volunteers who serve on chapter boards throughout the country and the leadership of our chapter board presidents. In 2017, several volunteers have stepped up and taken on an increased level of responsibility as new chapter presidents (listed in bold). Many thanks to both our new and returning chapter presidents who make DMEC’s professional education and networking possible in their region!
