State & Local Posting Requirements

July 2017

Maryland

Maryland has updated the ‘Workers’ Compensation Notice’ English and Spanish posting that all employers statewide are required to display to their employees. The posting’s regulatory citation has been updated.

Cook County, Illinois

Cook County, Illinois requires all employers countywide to display a new posting, ‘Cook County Earned Sick Leave’ to their employees.

Chicago, Illinois

Chicago, Illinois has an updated posting, ‘Chicago Paid Sick Leave’ that all employers citywide are required to display to their employees.

August 2017

Vermont

Vermont has updated the ‘Employers Reinstatement Liability’ posting that all employers statewide are required to display to employees. The posting has updated EEOC information as well as a new agency telephone number.

Vermont also requires all employers statewide to display the Spanish-language ‘Paid Sick Leave’ posting to employees.

Nevada

Nevada requires all employers statewide to display the new ‘Pregnant Workers’ Fairness Poster’ and ‘Domestic Violence Victim’s Bulletins’ postings to their employees.

Utah

Utah has updated the ‘Workers Compensation Notice’ posting that all employers statewide are required to display to their employees. The postings ‘How to Report an Accident’ section has been rewritten.

September 2017

Rhode Island

Rhode Island has updated the ‘Notice to Employees’ posting that all employers statewide are required to display to their employees. The “How to apply for benefits” section of the posting has been updated.
