Randi Weir Simmons, AVP, Absence Management, FINEOS
Randi has over 18 years of experience providing guidance and leadership within the human resource and absence management space. Her broad experience includes a specialization in return-to-work initiatives, talent management (including workforce planning, global recruitment program management, performance management, and employee development), and driving engagement through organizational health programs. She also has significant experience managing employee relations, North American benefits, compensation analysis, and maintaining responsibility for overall compliance within the North American region. Randi joined the FINEOS HR Team in 2009, and has recently moved into a new absence focused role, providing guidance and expertise to the FINEOS product management team for the FINEOS Absence offering.
Marjory Robertson, AVP & Senior Counsel, Sun Life Financial
Marjory Robertson is Assistant Vice President & Senior Counsel, advising Sun Life on employment law issues and employee absence and disability management. Marjory also advises Sun Life’s Group & Voluntary business on legal issues related to the Sun Life Absence & Disability Management Solution offered to employer Clients. Marjory is a frequent speaker at industry events, including DMEC conferences, Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) annual meetings, and is an active member of the ACC’s Employment & Labor Law Committee and co-chair and founder of the Subcommittee on Absence & Disability Management. Marjory holds a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College, cum laude, and a juris doctor, magna cum laude, from Boston College Law School. She is co-chair of the ACLI Working Group on statutory paid family leave laws.
