In the past 15 months, five state laws requiring some form of paid leave have either become effective or enacted with more likely to follow. The overarching compliance challenges to employers seems to be growing by the day, as this patchwork of uncoordinated, and often conflicting mandates across multiple jurisdictions, creates a real administrative and implementation burden. This session provided the most current information available on the evolution of these requirements, and guidance in preparing for what’s to come.
