At any one time, 4% to 10% of an employer’s workforce is not actively at work for various reasons, and employers are challenged with managing absences. A robust return-to-work (RTW) strategy is key to managing lost time, but still presents challenges to employers of all shapes and sizes. Challenges include determining when to begin communicating with an employee about RTW, determining who should handle the RTW process, and coordinating with various departments in an organization. One thing is certain — implementing a formal return-to-work program can help curb disability durations and other costs associated with absence while coordinating with the ADA process.
In this webinar, learn how your organization, no matter the size, can shift its focus to implement successful return-to-work strategies.
