The Americans with Disabilities (ADA) process can be a daunting experience, even for the most experienced companies. This webinar will equip all professionals — from those just getting started to those with established programs — with the right tools to ensure a robust program. Consistent policies, which are effectively communicated, can drive compliance and improve the employee experience.

This session will help employers understand the impact of the “3 C’s” throughout the ADA process: consistency, compliance, and communication. You will gain a thorough understanding of each component and how it relates to the accommodation process, as well as practical tips and tools for application. We will explore best practices for recognizing a person’s need for accommodation, responding to a request, understanding your time frames, and defining each parties’ responsibilities.

She is a certified rehabilitation counselor, and a certified ergonomic assessment specialist. She also holds her ADA administrator designation. She has 11 years of experience in vocational rehabilitation. She is skilled in areas of ergonomics, rehabilitation plans, accommodations, and return-to-work coordination efforts. 

Jennifer Lyons
Marketing Manager

Jennifer Lyons is a marketing manager responsible for supporting all thought leadership activity for the group and worksite markets at Guardian. Jennifer has been with Guardian for 10 years, and has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in absence, disability, and life products. She has held positions in underwriting, and product and business development with several of the largest group insurance carriers.

Vocational Rehabilitation Employer Services Leader

Cammie McAda is a vocational employer rehabilitation services leader at the Guardian offices in Plano, Texas. She earned her Master’s degree at UT Southwestern Medical Center in rehabilitation psychology, and has worked in the rehabilitation field for the past 20 years. She maintains her licensed professional counselor, certified rehabilitation counselor, certified ergonomic assessment specialist, and certified ADA administrator designations.
