No matter how good our intentions are to be free of prejudice, we all have implicit biases that can have a serious impact on our work. In this webinar, participants will explore the concept of implicit bias, and begin to understand the necessity of cultural awareness being a top priority to move beyond bias. Walk away with strategies to engage in compassionate dialogue in order to address the needs of your diverse companies and communities. Join us as we develop a shared definition of unconscious bias while exploring external structures that influence and impact our beliefs. Attendees will gain strategies to “interrupt” bias and “repair” the harm caused by it using the steps of “Recognize It”, “Interrupt It”, and “Repair It”, or the RIR Protocol.
