Check out the Latest DMEC Pulse Surveys

Throughout the year, DMEC conducts a variety of pulse surveys on hot topics in the industry. With the challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic brought, the 2020 pulse surveys focused on employer responses to the virus and employee caregiving concerns.

2020 DMEC COVID-19 Pulse Survey

In early April, DMEC gathered feedback on how organizations were responding to the COVID-19 outbreak. The survey had 608 participants, with the majority having 500 or more employees.

At the time of the survey, most respondents reported being fully staffed, though a third had furloughed employees and just over 20% had laid off employees. Before the COVID-19 outbreak, the percentage of their workforces that worked remotely averaged 20%. Since the outbreak, this percentage had increased to 70% of the workforce working from home.
