Ready or not, Connecticut’s new Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) benefits will become available to employees on Jan. 1, 2022. This session walked through the distinctions between the state and private plans and provided an overview to what employers can expect based on what offerings are available.

This webinar gave a full picture of the Connecticut PFML law and how it impacts three other employment laws to add wellness and financial security for you and your employees. Participants learned more about the provisions of the law, including tips and guidance for what to consider based on your decision whether to utilize the state plan or select a private plan option. Attendees walked away with a firm understanding of what to expect when an employee files a Connecticut PFML claim, including how claims will be administered, how to coordinate the benefits with STD, FMLA, PTO, and other benefit plans, and more!
