While many employers have juggled remote and hybrid work alternatives for the past 18+ months with efficiency, the physical separation of employees from the workplace continues to pose challenges. How are employers supposed to engage with their workforce when disconnected systems, challenging communications, and inefficient workflows pose increasing issues? As absence and disability management professionals prepare for 2022, they’re looking for new efficiencies, enhancements, and innovative solutions to aid their program management. As the ever-complex leave landscape continues to expand with new laws, vaccine mandates, and benefits overhauls, how companies leverage technology will be extremely important to their success.

This session discussed how technology is building a roadmap for leave administration programs of the future. We explored streamlining and integration techniques that will provide efficiencies and improved employee satisfaction for your leave benefits and workflow strategies. We also discussed how to leverage technology to improve your leave administration process, and we heard from an employer who has successfully accomplished this, and what considerations need to be made.
