Jump Start Your Career with the FMLA Medical Certification Process Microcredential Course

DMEC is launching the second installment in its microcredential program this month with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) Medical Certification Process course. It follows closely on the heels of the ADA Accommodation Process, which was released last fall and provides industry professionals with education, resources, and verified digital credentials to sharpen their absence and disability management skills and increase organizational effectiveness and compliance.

Five modules included in the new course will help you navigate the medical certification process and ensure compliance. The self-paced, interactive modules allow you to engage in real-life scenarios, test your understanding, and discover resources you can use upon course completion. The five modules include:

  • Overview of the FMLA Medical Certification Process
  • Legal Components of Medical Certification
  • Clarify or Cure
  • Second and Third Opinions
  • Recertification

Additional courses covering state leave laws will launch soon! Learn more at http://dmec.org/certification-training/microcredential-courses/.
