As the COVID-19 pandemic lingers on, the complexity of absence requests and accommodations continue to expand. Many employers are now faced with looming vaccine mandates, along with the inevitable vaccine exemptions, and the associated accommodation requests that haven’t slowed down. In this session, we walked through various federal and state vaccine mandates as well as how to manage related accommodations including medical, religious, and “other” with a focus on best practices and compliance considerations.
