Webinar Recording: An Updated Look at State PFML

Jai HookerResources, Tools & Tactics Archives

Approximately one third of the U.S. population lives in a state that has enacted paid family and medical leave laws (PFML). This means that employers need to be informed about those laws and how to serve the employees in those states.

In this session, we provided an overview of changes to existing state laws as well as offered a more detailed look at paid family leave plans that are coming on board, such as Oregon and Colorado. We also looked ahead to other states that have passed legislation and are in the process of adopting PFML plans, such as Maryland.
