We hold meetings throughout the year, and HR, leave, absence, workers’ compensation, risk management, legal, and safety professionals from the Central Valley are invited to attend.

Our meetings are typically two hours and include networking, a presentation, and raffle drawings.


All DMEC chapter meetings qualify for CPDM CEUs. Pick up a CPDM CEU reporting form at the close of each meeting. Any other CEUs provided for the meeting will be listed on the event details page.

Meeting fees include lunch and may vary for special events or full-day meetings. Typically, registration fees are:

  • DMEC members*: $25
  • Nonmembers: $35

*All employees of a DMEC member organization enjoy a variety of benefits, including reduced chapter fees.

Please register online for each event. You can pay by credit card or select the “Pay by Check Onsite” option. If paying by check, please bring a check (or cash) to the meeting for the full registration fee. Checks can be made payable to DMEC.

Substitutions and Cancellations

Substitutions are accepted; however, these must be made by the RSVP date indicated on the event details page. To make a substitution, contact info@dmec.org or 800.789.3632, ext. 101.

Cancellation for a refund is required by the RSVP date indicated on the event details page. To request a refund, contact info@dmec.org or 800.789.3632, ext. 101.
