All corporate sponsorship opportunities are on a first-come basis. Where applicable, sponsorship commitments must be secured no later than March 1 for inclusion in printed preliminary program mailed to more than 10,000 potential attendees. Where applicable, sponsorships confirmed after March 1 will be included in the final onsite program provided to all registered attendees.

Mobile App and Onsite Guide: SOLD (Sedgwick)

Attendees will have the opportunity to view event information from their smart phones and tablets via the conference mobile app, a companion piece to the printed final program. This modern and convenient tool will offer the practical information needed to find their way around the conference, including the session agenda, exhibitor and attendee information, conference logistics, and other event activities. Attendees will be able to access their saved agendas and, most importantly, have up-to-date information on session changes and event news.

DMEC Newcomers’ Reception Sponsorship: $8,000

Be the first to welcome new attendees to the conference. Held one hour prior to the start of the opening welcome reception, the DMEC invitation-only newcomers’ reception provides your company with the opportunity to help the DMEC staff, Executive Advisory Board, Employer Advisory Council, and chapter presidents welcome our new members and first-time employer attendees.

Refuel attendees with a luncheon sponsorship. You’ll have the chance to provide the luncheon welcome remarks and have your company’s branded item placed at each place setting.

Hotel Guest Room Key Card Sponsorship: SOLD (Prudential)

Make an impression from the moment attendees check in. Guest key cards are used multiple times a day, so you’ll be “in the pocket” of every attendee. Sponsorship cost includes two custom logo designed key cards (replaces standard keys) for each attendee and distribution by hotel staff at check in. Note: The sponsor will be responsible for design, based upon artwork specifications provided by DMEC.

Tax Treatment of Gifts and Sponsorships

In accordance with the Internal Revenue Service guidelines as stated in IRS Publications 557, revised 7/2001; gifts, sponsorships or other contributions to DMEC as a 501c (6) organization are not deductible as charitable contributions on the donor/sponsor’s federal income tax return. However, they may be deductible as trade or business expenses if ordinary and necessary in the conduct of the taxpayer’s business. Consult your tax advisor for clarification.

A 50% deposit is required for your sponsorship contract to be processed. Check payments for the 50% deposit are due no later than 30 days from the submission of your contract. Deposit is subject to the cancellation policy outlined in the DMEC exhibit & sponsor contract policy, rules and regulations.
