Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) has become an increasingly prevalent benefit as additional jurisdictions pass legislation to support their employees. As more legislation is approved, the challenge of learning the nuances of each new law while complying with every specific offering, coordinating with other employee benefits, and ensuring equitable access to benefits for all employees is putting added pressure on employers and HR departments.
