2024 Tools & Tactics Webinar: Beyond the Diagnosis – Mental Health Comorbidities’ Impact on Disability

Tuesday, July 30
9:00 am PT | 12:00 pm ET

Join us to discover the hidden impact of mental health on overall well-being and productivity and measures you can take to move the needle. Nearly a quarter of US adults have a diagnosable mental health condition, and a significant majority (approximately 2/3) of them also grapple with medical issues. Conversely, 25-30% of those with medical conditions also experience mental health challenges.

Despite this interconnectedness, traditional approaches in insurance and employment often overlook mental health, focusing primarily on physical diagnoses. This session delves into the critical need to understand and address mental health comorbidities for a comprehensive view of health and productivity. Join us as experts unpack insights on how mental health impacts medical conditions, affecting both recovery times and associated costs in disability claims. Explore the seamless integration of mental and physical health for a more holistic approach to well-being and success.

  • Through an analysis of claims data and insights, understand the relationship between mental health and medical conditions.
  • Learn about the duration and costs associated with mental health comorbidities in workers’ compensation and disability.
