Terri L. Rhodes | Chief Executive Officer
Terri has extensive knowledge and expertise in all aspects of absence and disability program management. Terri was an Absence and Disability Management Consultant for Mercer delivering strategic absence and disability management solutions to clients of all sizes. She also served as Director of Absence and Disability for Health Net and Corporate IDM Program Manager for Abbott Laboratories and was an early adopter building an Integrated Disability Management program for Legacy Health System.
Terri holds an MBA (Business Management) from Columbus University, a Certified Professional in Disability Management (CPDM), and a Certified Case Management Professional (CCMP) from the Insurance Educational Association.
Tasha Patterson | Director, Marketing and Membership
Tasha joined DMEC in 2015. She brings more than twelve years of strategic marketing and communications experience in various association and nonprofit settings. Tasha is responsible for all marketing, communications, membership, chapter, and social media activities for the organization.
Tasha holds an MBA from the University of Colorado Denver and a BA in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Wheaton College.
Rachel Ankerholz | IT and Database Manager

Rachel joined DMEC in 2008. With her experience and knowledge of Association services, she instinctively assesses the needs of employers, linking them to the resources that help advance workplace success. She serves as the primary business analyst for DMEC with respect to software, hardware, and AMS-related technologies. Her focus is primarily the identification and implementation of new technologies and software to streamline DMEC’s systems and delivery of member benefits.
Rachel holds a BS in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Minnesota State University.
JoAnne Spitale | Conference Manager
JoAnne joined DMEC in 2009. She brings more than thirteen years of hands-on management, program, and event/conference planning experience in the educational, sports management, and nonprofit association fields. JoAnne is responsible for the successful planning, implementation, and evaluation of the DMEC FMLA/ADA Employer Compliance Conference and the DMEC Annual Conference.
JoAnne holds a BA in Education and an MS in Sports Studies & Management from High Point University.
Mary Hill | Accounting Manager

Mary joined DMEC in 2016. In addition to several years of accounting experience, she has a background in grant writing, contract management, marketing, and public relations. Her financial knowledge, accuracy, and organizational skills will help to ensure the overall financial health of DMEC. Mary is responsible for all bookkeeping functions and the design and implementation of accounting procedures.
Mary holds a BA in both Economics and Biology from the University of Puget Sound.
Pam Bogner | Education Programs Manager

Pam joined DMEC in 2017 as the Education Programs Manager. With high-level employer experience in integrated absence management (IAM), she has designed and implemented IAM strategies and interventions to improve employee health and productivity and align with broader health and wellness strategies. Prior to joining DMEC, Pam was a U.S. Benefits Program Manager for Intel Corporation, an AVP, Manager of Integrated Disability Programs at Washington Mutual, and a Senior Contracts Analyst at Nordstrom supporting employee benefits, leadership benefits, and risk management. Pam is responsible for content development across a broad range of DMEC activities, projects, and programs.
Pam holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, an MS from Indiana University, and a BS from Indiana University.
Cindy Espe | Online Events Administrator

Cindy joined DMEC in 2013. She contributes a strong administrative and technical background from a variety of industries. Her experience includes CRM database administration, business systems integration, event planning, and executive support. Her logistical strengths and organizational skills make her well-equipped to administer DMEC’s online educational events. This includes managing the technical details of all DMEC webinars as well as working with national sponsors and presenters to ensure a seamless and successful webinar program.
Katie Gillham | Conference and Administrative Coordinator

Katie joined DMEC in 2015. She has 9 years of event management experience in many areas, including higher education, professional associations, municipalities, and audio/visual services. Most recently she worked as a corporate event coordinator managing trade shows and sponsorship programs. She is responsible for assisting with the implementation of the DMEC FMLA/ADA Employer Compliance Conference and the DMEC Annual Conference and manages the continuing education process for DMEC events.
Katie holds a BS in Psychology with a minor in Economics from Boston University.
Lisa Jorgenson | Database Specialist

Lisa joined DMEC in 2015. She brings to DMEC several years of experience in information technology, specifically database management. She is responsible for maintaining the membership database and providing technical support for members and CLMS students and designees.
Lisa holds a BS in Business Computer Information Systems from Saint Cloud State University.
Jennifer Watkins | Marketing & Membership Coordinator

Jennifer joined DMEC in 2016. She brings over nine years of integrated marketing experience in both the non-profit and for-profit industries, including positions in the performing arts, and most recently, in managed IT services. Jennifer is responsible for marketing and communication activities for DMEC’s webinars and chapter events and works with chapter board members on event management throughout the year.
Jennifer holds a BA in Consumer Sciences with a minor in Fine Arts from Central Washington University.
