Frequently Asked Questions

General

The in-person conference will be held April 14-17, 2025 in Columbus, OH. The agenda is available online. A one-day virtual conference will be held on June 4, 2025. 

All meetings and events held in conjunction with the in-person conference will be at the Hilton Columbus Downtown in Columbus, Ohio.

For those that are unable to attend the in-person conference, DMEC has planned a one-day virtual conference on June 4, 2025, which will feature four of the highest-rated sessions from the in-person conference along with virtual networking opportunities.  

Program

The in-person conference agenda is available online. The virtual conference agenda will be available approximately one month before the event. 

Registration

Register and pay for five individuals from your organization to attend and every sixth paid registration is free. Complimentary registrations included as part of partnerships or using discount codes do not apply. 

If you aren’t sure if your organization is a DMEC member, follow these steps to add your company affiliation and verify your DMEC membership status or contact us at 800.789.3632 ext. 101 or info@dmec.org.

Everyone, including speakers, attending the conference must register. Speakers will receive registration instructions through their speaker portal.

When your registration is received and processed, you will receive an email indicating that you completed the registration process. Registration confirmation emails will be sent to the email address entered on your online registration form. If you believe that you have completed the registration steps and do not receive an email within 24 hours, contact us at info@dmec.org.

Yes. Contact us at 800.789.3632, ext. 101 or info@dmec.org with both the name of the person being replaced and the new person’s name and contact information, including email address and the email confirmation number of the record of the person being replaced (if available). Substitutions will be accepted through April 3, 2025. The individual attending the conference is responsible for all financial obligations.

All registration cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing by March 6, 2025. A refund of all fees, minus a $100 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations received on or before March 6. No refunds will be granted after this date. In the event of force majeure, the organizer reserves the right to issue credit toward future events. All requests should be submitted to DMEC at info@dmec.org. 

No cancellations will be permitted for the virtual conference. All registrants will have access to all on-demand sessions for up to one year. 

No. You will pick up your badge and other conference information at the onsite DMEC registration desk at the Hilton Columbus Downtown. The DMEC registration desk will be open prior to our Monday general session and will remain open throughout the week. Registration desk hours are included in our mobile app and in a reminder email sent to you shortly before the conference. 

Conference registration fees can be paid by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express).

Meals & Social Events

Your conference registration includes all meals, breaks, and receptions listed on the schedule of events, including the Monday welcome reception, Tuesday happy hour, breakfast from Tuesday through Thursday, lunch from Monday through Wednesday, and all morning and afternoon breaks scheduled from Monday through Thursday.

Housing/Hotel Information

The 2025 DMEC Compliance Conference will be held at the Hilton Columbus Downtown in Columbus, OH. The hotel is currently taking reservations for the DMEC conference. 

The discounted daily rate for DMEC conference attendees is $225 USD plus taxes and fees. Make your reservation by March 22, 2025 to receive the discounted rate. All reservations require a first-night room deposit, which is refundable if canceled 48 hours before arrival. Individual guests checking out early will incur an early departure fee of one night’s room and tax. To avoid this fee, please notify the hotel before or at check-in of your early departure plans. 

Yes. Speakers will receive hotel reservation information through their speaker portal.

This year the hotel should accommodate our entire group. If you are told the hotel is full, contact us at info@dmec.org. We encourage everyone to make their reservations early.

Call the hotel and cancel as soon as you know that you will not be using your reserved room or need to make a change to your existing reservation.

Yes. Register four or more individuals from your organization, and receive a $75 discount on the fourth registration and all subsequent registrations. Note: You do not need to register all four individuals at the same time. The registration system will recognize when the fourth (and subsequent) individual(s) from the organization is registering and will automatically apply the $75 discount.
