Does your absence program consider or employ return-to-activity best practices? Your case managers don’t have medical degrees – and they don’t have to. What they need is reliable duration information for estimating optimal return-to-work timing and training on prevalent conditions and accommodations. Three experts from MDGuidelines and Alight went into the data underlying the duration information and discussed how to establish best practices that help support better outcomes for your employees. Attendees learned how to use duration guidelines to support decisions by their case managers and anyone else who is responsible for managing employee leaves of absence.
