Cortney holds a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the Ohio State University and is a
Licensed Independent Social Worker. Cortney is a Certified Disability Management Specialist with
experience in community mental health, vocational rehabilitation, and disability benefits. Prior to
coming to Prudential, she worked for over 10 years in human resources for a large employer
managing an integrated absence and disability management program and has expertise in the
areas of HR policy and benefits, FMLA, ADA accommodations, transitional return to work
programs and health program integration.

Cortney has been with Prudential for 7 years. In her current role, Cortney provides data-driven,
strategic consultative services and designs and implements programs in partnership with
Prudential’s valued customers aimed at minimizing the impact of absence and improving the
health & productivity of their workforce.

Director of Absence and Disability Product Jamie Capko has over 25 years of group insurance and industry related experience. She spent this time at Prudential with over 13 years in her current role.

Jamie is a subject matter expert for our Group Insurance Absence, ADA, and STD products. She represents Prudential at finalist presentations for all market segments.

Prior to her current role, Jamie was a group insurance underwriter for 12 ½ years. She also has prior experience in learning and development as well as the digital customer experience.

Rachel Wesley is currently the Director of the Strategic Workplace Solutions department in Group Insurance at Prudential. Rachel has a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from The Pennsylvania State University, is a licensed professional counselor, and a certified rehabilitation counselor with over 25 years of experience as a clinician. She is also a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist. After spending several years in the public sector working with mental health and substance use clientele, Rachel moved into workers compensation as a vocational case manager. She then transitioned into group insurance and has worked with several different carriers over the last 20 years. Rachel is passionate about setting employees up for a successful recovery and return-to-work and stresses the importance of providing support and guidance through the disability journey.
