Benchmark Your Company or Clients’ Absence Programs
DMEC AbsenceExemplar™ Dashboard (Full) is an interactive, self-service benchmarking tool that showcases data from the DMEC Absence Plan Design and Practices Benchmarking Survey and offers subscribers an interactive tool to help them compare their company’s or their clients’ benefit plans to other companies.
Categories
The categories covered in the AbsenceExemplar™ Dashboard (Full) include questions around plans and benefits associated with:
- Short-Term Disability (STD)
- Long-Term Disability (LTD)
- Workers’ Compensation
- Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
- Paid Parental Leave and Family Care Leave
- Time Off
- Attendance Policies
Filters
- Size – The data can be filtered by one or more size categories.
- Industry – The data can be filtered by one or more industries.
- Region – The data can be filtered by one or more regions.
- Employee Class – STD plan design, LTD plan design, and time off days provided can be filtered by one or more employee classes.
Subscription Options
DMEC offers four access options for plan design benchmarking data.
Dashboard Subscription
The DMEC AbsenceExemplar™ Dashboard (Full) subscription includes access to the dashboard for five (5) designated users for one year.
Raw Data Subscription
The DMEC Absence Plan Design and Practices Benchmarking Survey Results Raw Data subscription includes a de-identified CSV survey data file updated quarterly and sent to a designated “subscription contact person” for one year.
Dashboard Subscription + Raw Data Subscription
The DMEC AbsenceExemplar™ Dashboard (Full) subscription includes access to the dashboard for five (5) designated users for one year and the DMEC Absence Plan Design and Practices Benchmarking Survey Results Raw Data subscription includes a de-identified CSV survey data file updated quarterly and sent to the designated “subscription contact person” for one year.
One-Question Report
The DMEC AbsenceExemplar™ Dashboard (Full) One-Question report includes a PDF report with one question and the associated filtered responses from the dashboard.

*Suppliers serve employers by providing health, absence, insurance, technology, and productivity-related programs, services, and strategies. If your company is primarily engaged in supplying these services and products to DMEC employers, your company will be considered a supplier for purchase purposes.
Getting Started
If you are interested in purchasing one of the products listed above, complete our interest form and a DMEC representative will reach out to you within two (2) business days to begin the contracting process. All purchases require a signed agreement and full payment before access is provided.
