Taking Back Your Plan: A Practical Guide for Effective Policy Development
SUNDAY, AUG. 3 | 1:00-5:00 PM
The avalanche of federal, state, and local laws has forced employers into making reactive policy, process, and funding changes, often with minimal information and under tight deadlines. The effort spent determining how each plan does or does not coordinate, and if mandatory requirements are being met, is overshadowing the overall goal of having formal leave plans in the first place.
This engaging and interactive training is designed to provide participants with the foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to write effective, compliant, and inclusive policies that reflect your company’s objectives. Through a combination of instruction and hands-on workshops, attendees will:
- Master the essential principles of policy drafting
- Understand how to benchmark policy options against industry standards
- Identify compliance requirements to be incorporated
- Determine changes needed to get policies back on track
This interactive workshop will empower participants to create clear, concise, and compliant policies that can be immediately applied to their organization. Attendees will also have the opportunity to collaborate and receive feedback on their policy questions, helping them refine their skills in real-time.
By the end of this training, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and confidence to write policies that are not only legally sound but also inclusive and reflective of their organization’s needs.
