Maturity Models Help Employers Assess Next Steps as They Grow

By Seth Turner, Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Founder, AbsenceSoft

A common growing pain for companies is the need to evolve leave processes. Identifying next steps becomes easier with maturity model assessments, which help employers understand the status of the organization and identify reasonable next steps. The goal is to meet business objectives and take care of employees while the organization scales.

Maturity models offer a holistic, unbiased look at leaves with an assessment of current state, pain points, and the identification of next steps for automation of leave programs. Taking time to assess where the organization falls within the five levels of a maturity model can help employers evaluate where they can create more alignment, identify opportunities for improvement, and set realistic expectations.
