Webinar Recording: Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Basics

Jai HookerResources, Tools & Tactics Archives

This introductory education on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) dissected the ADA’s fundamental requirements in a practical way, preparing you to confidently integrate ADA compliance into your organization. By navigating a model interactive process, we discussed ADA requirements that continue to pose challenges for employers, including determining who has a disability, knowing when and how to request disability-related information, and deciding what accommodations are reasonable. We helped you build your ADA competence and confidence, discussed the low cost and high impact of providing accommodations, and offered best practices for building an inclusive workplace.
